We are a fellowship and advocacy organization, in Springboro, OH, dedicated to creating a safe community of empowered and unafraid BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) children and adults, who belong equally, with rights and privileges afforded to all, regardless of race, disability, economic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or faith.
![]() Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, 6-8pm Southwest Church 150 Remick Blvd. Springboro, OH 45066 We were happy to see so many families attend PEACOC's fellowship meeting last month. Children of color bonded and their parents connected on the challenges we face as well as what we have to be thankful for. This month, we're calling on families to get into the holiday SPIRIT. Pull out your elf hats, ugly sweaters, jingle bells, or any of your favorite holiday regalia! In addition, holiday props will be available for fun and joyous holiday family and individual pics! Along with family fellowship, we'll learn about progress made PEACOC's mission and hear about opportunities to take action. Fellowship meetings include a potluck, so bring a favorite food to share. For this fellowship meeting, PEACOC will provide a variety of chilis. Go to this link at SignUpGenius to RSVP and let us know what food item you will bring to share: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4ba8af28a5fbc07-peacoc Masks are encouraged when indoors for this gathering. Parents of children of color and their families are welcomed to attend our monthly fellowship meeting, a time and place for families of color in Springboro and nearby communities to learn and connect with each other, build relationships, and network with other families of color in our community. The evening will include programming (e.g. a panel, guest speaker, discussion session, group or family activity, etc.) We'll also discuss and provide updates on how become an official voting member of PEACOC and how to get involved in activities that serve to empower our children.
